Fees & rebates
Session fees:
Business hours (9am-5pm): $220
After 5pm and weekends: $240
Sessions run for 50 minutes, and fees are due the day of your appointment.
The number of sessions that you will require will be discussed between you and your psychologist.
Medicare
If you have access to Medicare, you may obtain a Mental Health Care Plan and referral from your GP which allows you to access a rebate for up to 20 sessions (per calendar year). The Medicare rebate is $96.65.
If you have already hit the Medicare safety net then your rebate amount will be higher.
You must see you GP prior to you first session in order to be eligible for the rebate.
Private Health Insurance
If you have private health insurance, you may be eligible for rebates under your extras cover.
Each health fund is different, so we recommend contacting your provider to see whether you are eligible for this cover.
Please note we do not see clients under TAC, Workcover or EAP.
Cancellation policy
Providing at least 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment helps us to keep your session costs down, maximises our availability to clients and minimises lost clinical time.
If you need to cancel or postpone your session, call or email at least 24 hours prior.
Appointments missed or rescheduled without 24 hours notice will incur 50% of the fee which you must pay prior to your next scheduled appointment. It is important to note that Third Party funders do not pay late cancellation or missed appointment fees. These are your responsibility even if your treatment is normally funded by a Third Party.
